AppFolio user question:
Is there any way to disable a specific tenant to not allow pre-payments? We have been putting tenants that are moving on evict status, so it disables their online payments, but then they have to mail or drop off a payment and it's inconvenient for them.
APM Help answer:
There is not a way to not allow prepayments, but I would recommend that you have all tenants moving out disable their automatic payments set on their portals. Also, rather than putting them under Evict status, I would recommend starting the move out flow by selecting "Move Out Tenants" under "Tasks" and then under "Status" on the left side of the tenant page, select "Edit" and uncheck "Allow Online Payments"
