This week we are talking with Danny from Majerle  Management, Inc. He is an APM Help consulting client who agreed to speak to us about his experiences as a property manager using AppFolio.

APM: What first brought you to APM Help?

Danny: I could tell that AppFolio was a complete disaster when I started, but I didn’t know enough about the system to know how to fix it but I knew I needed help to correct everything.

APM: Did you feel like your clean up process went smoothly?

Danny: Absolutely. It would have been better if I had a little more experience with AppFolio and I knew what was going on. I just made a bunch of adjustments to the corporate account which was totally wrong because I didn’t know what I was doing. It was good to have training beforehand through us so that we had somewhat of a base understanding of AppFolio.

The APM Help Experience

APM: What is the best thing that has happened for you since going live with APM Help?

Danny: We got mistakes that had been in AppFolio for years finally straightened out and got reconciled for the first time ever and have been triple tied out every month since.

APM: What is the best experience you have had with APM Help so far?

Danny: Working with Rayne and her responsiveness.

To Wrap It Up

APM: Any advice you would give to people who are hesitant to trust a third party with their books?

Danny: APM Help knows more about AppFolio then AppFolio knows about AppFolio. You guys were a shot in the dark, we needed AppFolio help and we found you guys.

APM: Do you have anything else you would like to add?

Danny: Rayne is incredibly responsive and helpful and I appreciate working with her. We are still learning, but at least we know more than we did coming into it which will help us keep our books clean. Everything is where it’s supposed to be now, and it feels good knowing that moving forward. I feel comfortable with our books now, and we are getting better everyday!

APM: If you could describe your experience with us so far in one word, what would it be?

Danny: Excellent!
